Our MP2000DD, which is similar to the MP2000RSG in design, features many heavy duty parts such as a Leeson 1/3 HP 110 volt electric motor and a cast iron pumping unit with steel gears. The main difference is the motor. The MP2000DD has a Leeson motor that spins at 1800 RPM. The MP2000RSG has a Baldor motor that spins at 1140 RPM. The MP2000DD is designed to transfer oil that is above 50 degrees in temperature and not heavier than 15w40 motor oil. The MP2000RSG is required when filtering large amounts of oil through fine micron filters, when transferring cold oil below 50 degrees in temperature, or transferring heavy oil like gear lube. The MP2000DD is a direct drive pump. The motor and the pump run at the same speed. This system works well with lighter fluids such as diesel, WVO, light motor oils, antifreeze, and biodiesel. The oil should be above 50 degrees in temperature when using the MP2000DD. This pump has an internal pressure relief system (pressure output is 40 to 45 PSI) and can be used with filters or trigger nozzles. Filters should be mounted on the pressure side of the pump. Filters usually last longer on the pressure side. Pumps push better than they pull oil. This pump is perfect for users who have small to medium size quantities of oil, WVO, or diesel to transfer and need a pump that is self primeing, easy to use, and very dependable. It can transfer light motor oil at up to 8 gallons per minute and diesel at 10 GPM. If used with an inverter, you will need 3000 watts to run the pump. This unit is $289.00 + $35.00 shipping. Our MP2000M Oil Metering Pump can be used to dispense a variety of liquids. These liquids are diesel, biodiesel, waste vegetable oil, bulk oil, fuel oil, hydraulic oil, gear oil, and motor oil. The meter can dispense in quarts, gallons, liters, and ounces. The meter can be mounted on either the MP2000DD transfer pump or the MP2000RSG transfer pump. The MP2000DD works well with diesel, biodiesel, and fuel oil on up to 15w40. Any fluid heavier than 15w40 diesel engine oil will require the MP2000RSG transfer pump. The meter can be easily programed for different liquids. Both models of pumps have the internal pressure relief system that allows the user to control the flow with a trigger nozzle.
