Here is our dual waste oil strainer that is mounted on the inlet side of our waste oil pumps. It has a 50 mesh (300 micron) and a 30 mesh (600 micron) stainless steel screen inside the housing that can be taken out and cleaned when it gets plugged with debris. There are 150 and 180 micron elements available as well. The housing is made from polypropylene, a very hard type of plastic reinforced with fiberglass. These strainers use Viton O-ring seals to prevent chemical breakdown. These strainers are a must for collecting used oil. They keep debris out of the pump and if your using a fine micron spin-on filter system, it extends the life of the filter by taking out all the larger particles. This system comes with 2 large cleanable strainers, a heavy duty steel mounting bracket, connector pipe, and 1" hose barbs (inlet and outlet) that accept 1" ID hose. Our dual "High Capacity" strainer system is ideal for straining debris out of waste motor oil or WVO. It's large filter elements are 8" long and over 2 inches in diameter which give the user a lot of surface area for catching debris that is in the oil. The screens in the strainers have different micron ratings. One is 300 micron and the other is 600 micron. We also have 150, 180, and 1100 micron screens available if you want to make a custom set-up. When using 2 different screens like this, you'll catch a lot more debis and spend less time cleaning the units than if you were using just one strainer. You want your oil collection and filtration process to be as easy and clean as possible. This system can be put on any of our transfer pumps. Just ask when ordering for the dual strainer system.
